  • Brakes

    The brake system of your vehicle is by far the most important safety system that it has. Being able to slow down or stop at a moments notice will help to avoid an incident or accident. We only use the main dealer or O.E. (original equipment) approved parts from our reputable suppliers.

    Brakes should be regularly inspected, a visual inspection, measuring pad and shoe thickness, check for even wear of the pads and shoes, check discs for running out and hot spots. Make sure the wheel cylinders, brake lines and brake master cylinder are not leaking, inspect callipers for wear, free movement and fluid leaks, and check the level and condition of the brake fluid. Inspect for proper routing and placement of the brake and anti-lock brake sensors.

  • Clutches

  • Timing Belts

    The cambelt or timing belt keeps the camshafts in the engine running smoothly in time together. If left to wear beyond the recommended mileage, it can snap or slip, often without any warning, and leave a large bill in its wake.

    A snapped timing belt can cause serious and expensive damage to the engine as it controls the timing of the crankshaft and camshaft and the opening and closing of the valves in time with the pistons. Your cambelt must be replaced following your manufacturer's specified intervals.

    Your cambelt will need changing every 60,000–90,000 miles or so, according to the manufacturer's handbook which you should have with your car.

  • Suspension

    Your vehicle's suspension includes several mechanical systems working together such as ball joints, wishbones track control arms, road springs, shock absorbers, suspension bushes, steering rack and hydraulic components. Your suspension determines the quality of ride and steering whilst driving.
